John Riley is both a trial lawyer and an office practitioner, whose practice is focused on real estate law. Prior to his work at Witherspoon Kelley, he served as in-house counsel for the First American Title Insurance Company in Spokane.

John has broad experience in all areas of real estate law in both state and federal courts, bankruptcy courts, and administrative proceedings. He regularly represents clients in matters related to rights in land, title insurance, banking, condominium creation, sales, leasing and brokerage, bankruptcy, environmental issues, water rights, land use planning, federal housing law, and construction.
