We are currently seeking a Human Resource / Benefits Administrator in our Downtown Spokane office.
The ideal candidate will have HR and benefits management experience, preferably in a law firm. Familiarity with Excel coupled with a strong accounting background would definitely be a plus. In addition to the day-to-day functions of Human Resource management and employee relations, duties will include enforcing and updating current office policies; managing vacation/sick leave schedules including tracking of FMLA; familiarity with employment and labor laws at federal and state levels in order to maintain compliance. Benefits’ management will include enrolling and terminating participants, monthly invoice reconciliation, and participation in annual renewal of the firm’s medical, dental, life, long-term disability and long-term care programs; complete administration of the firm’s Flexible Spending Account and Health Reimbursement Arrangement, including general ledger balancing of same; enrollment of employees in the Firm’s 401(k) Profit-sharing Plan and updating the Plan’s Trustee of all participant changes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
Experience required. Bachelor’s degree and/or current certifications in the HR or Benefits field a plus.
